Forming Process-We have two high vacuum extruding systems (3500 mt power & 1500 mt power) for forming the raw material (needle coke, petroleum coke and coal pitch) to be green electrode in diameter 75-700mm.
Cooling- the green electrode can be continuously and evenly cooled, to that the quality of green electrode is stable, and the crack defects in the later production process can be prevented.
Green rods will be put into baking furnace for the first baking
Baking-There is a 28 rooms annular baking furnace and a tunnel furnace for electrodes first baking and secondary baking respectively.
Impregnation vacuum tank
Impregnation-The impregnation process of graphite electrode is completed by high pressure impregnation vacuum system.
The Acheson graphitization furnace is used to produce small diameter electrodes while the LWG furnaces are better suited for producing large ones.
Machining-Graphite electrodes and nipples are machined by high precision cnc machining system.
